PROGRAM-SPECIFIC TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The participant is responsible to check if they meet all eligibility requirements for the International Experience Canada / Canada Working Holiday Program. GO International and its affiliates reserve the right to deny participation for the program at GO INTERNATIONAL’s discretion.
  2. It’s the participant’s responsibility to submit a complete and correct online work permit application. GO International is legally not allowed to answer specific questions about the participant’s online application and can’t provide any immigration advice.
  3. GO International is not part of the Canadian Government and its departments (International Experience Canada/IEC). GO International does not have influence on Government decisions, including but not limited to processing times, eligibility and application requirements, entry restrictions and application decisions. GO International is not responsible for any changes made to the IEC Program.
  4. GO International cannot guarantee a specific time by when an application will be processed and approved.
  5. GO International cannot guarantee that the participant will find work in Canada. The participant is obligated to have sufficient funds to cover their expenses in Canada, should they not be successful in securing employment.
  6. The participant is responsible for all travel expenses to get to Canada and for travel within Canada.
  7. The participant is solely responsible for finding and paying for their own accommodation while in Canada. All expenses related to housing and daily living including rent, utilities, furnishing, and food are the participant’s responsibility.
  8. The participant is expected to respect the property of GO INTERNATIONAL/TAMWOOD and will pay for property damage he/she causes. Destruction and/or theft of property will be grounds for disciplinary action. The participant will obey all Canadian federal, provincial and local laws.
  9. GO International reserves the right to dismiss a participant from the program if, in its best judgement, he/she is deemed to be a danger to themselves or to others, or if his/her conduct is deemed to be detrimental to the program in any way. In the event of such a dismissal, GO International shall not be held responsible for any resulting expenses the participant may incur, and no refunds will be given.

Work and Travel in Australia Silver / Gold / Platinum Adventure Program and 

Work and Travel in New Zealand Silver / Gold Program

  1. To apply to the Working Holiday Program in Australia or New Zealand, all participants must:

– Be between 18-35 years old
– Be a holder of or eligible for a Working Holiday visa to AU/NZ
– Speak at least Intermediate level of English

  1. GO INTERNATIONAL’s Australian Partner Provider shall be responsible for providing the services outlined to the participant. In the event, that the services and accommodations outlined cannot be provided due to causes beyond the control of GO INTERNATIONAL’s Australian Partner Provider, all efforts will be made to provide comparable services and accommodations.
  2. The participant understands that this program does not guarantee him/her a job. The participant understands that he/she will need to be active in his/her job search and be realistic with his/her work expectations.
  3. The participant understands that he/she is responsible for finding and paying for his/her own accommodation (expect for program-inclusive arrival accommodation). All expenses relating to housing and daily living including rent, utilities, furnishing, and food are his/her responsibility.

REFUNDS:

  • 20 days before start date: Full refund of Program Fees, Application Fee is non-refundable.
  • Less than 20 days before start date: No refund.
  • This applies to all services included in the Silver, Gold and Platinum Package. Additional refund fees might occur for optional add-ons.

 

Indigenous Youth Group Program in New Zealand 

Refund Policy: 

  • The deposit of CA $500 is non-refundable.

  1. To apply to the Germany Working Holiday Program, all participants must:

– Be between 18-35 years old
– Be a holder of or eligible for Working Holiday visa for Germany
– Speak at least Intermediate level of English

    1. GO INTERNATIONAL’s German Partner Provider shall be responsible for providing the services outlined to the participant. In the event, that the services and accommodations outlined cannot be provided due to causes beyond the control of GO INTERNATIONAL’s German Partner Provider, all efforts will be made to provide comparable services and accommodations.
    2. All pre-arranged accommodation is subject to availability. Booking of Gold Package should be made at least 6 weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date of the participant. GO INTERNATIONAL and its German Partner Provider are allowed to cancel bookings of the accommodation in case no such accommodation is available. In case accommodation is not available, participants will be downgraded to and only charged for the Silver Package. The participant will be notified about this at least one month prior to the scheduled arrival date.
    3. German language lessons will be provided by partnering language school. GO INTERNATIONAL and its German Partner Provider are allowed to cancel language lessons if the course is not provided by the language school for any reason. The participant will be notified about this at least 5 working days prior to the scheduled start of the course. There will be a full refund of the course fees in this case. GO INTERNATIONAL will suggest alternative options for language lessons.

REFUNDS

  • Application Fee is non-refundable
  • Cancellation of Silver program is not possible.
  • In case of cancellation of Gold program, the following cancellation fees apply:
    • Cancellation more than 1 month prior to start date: $100 CAD cancellation fee (applied to Program Fees).
    • Cancellation less than 1 month prior to start date: No Refund.
    • Should the participant get his/her visa application refused when applying prior to arriving in Germany and can therefore not join the program AND if the cancellation is made more than 1 month prior to the client’s scheduled arrival, GO INTERNATIONAL will not charge any cancellation fees. Application fee is non-refundable.
    • Should the participant get his/her visa application refused when applying prior to arriving in Germany and can therefore not join the program AND if the cancellation is made 1 month or less prior to the client’s scheduled arrival, a 100% cancellation fee of the Program Fees applies.
  • In case of cancellation of language lesson, the following cancellation fees apply:
    • If the cancellation is made 10 working days prior to the start of the course or earlier, a cancellation fee of 70% of the course fees applies. The registration fee will not be refunded.
    • If the cancellation is made 9 or less working days prior to the start of the course or if client is a no-show or if the course is not completed, a 100% cancellation fee applies.

To apply to the Japan Working Holiday Program, all participants must:

– Be between 18-30 years old
– Be a holder of or eligible for Working Holiday visa for Japan
– Speak at least Upper Intermediate level of English

Work and Travel in Japan Programs – Silver & Gold Program

  1. GO INTERNATIONAL’s Japanese Partner Provider shall be responsible for providing the services outlined to the participant. In the event, that the services and accommodations outlined cannot be provided due to causes beyond the control of GO INTERNATIONAL’s Japanese Partner Provider, all efforts will be made to provide comparable services and accommodations.
  2. If the participant arrives outside of the standard time frame of Fridays between 8am and 10pm, the participant can decide to come to the accommodation on his/her own at no extra charge, or be picked up by Japanese staff from Haneda or Narita airport at an extra charge of $100 CAD.
  3. Booking of Share House accommodation (as part as Gold Package or add-on):
    • The Japanese Partner Provider collects a deposit of 35,000 JPY per person in cash from all participants on arrival, which is fully returned when the participant moves out and has not destroyed any house property, not lost any keys or other house property, and has not severely violated the house rules.
      The Japanese Partner Provider is allowed to partially or fully retain the deposit, or terminate the rental agreement without refund of rent paid, should a participant damage or lose any property of the share houses or severely and after a first warning, not respect the house rules.
  1. Booking of job guarantee for farm work and/or ryokan (hotel) job:
    • If the participant has sufficient basic conversational skills of Japanese language prior to his/her arrival to Japan, the Japanese Partner Provider will arrange an unlimited number of job interviews via Skype or phone with potential employers of farm work and/or ryokan jobs until the participant has been accepted.
    • If the participant does not have sufficient basic conversational skills of the Japanese language prior to his/her arrival to Japan, the job interview/s will be arranged in Japan, once the participant has sufficient language skills.
    • GO INTERNATIONAL recommends all participants who do not have sufficient language skills to join 4 weeks of language lessons on arrival in Japan.
    • Should an applicant not be accepted by a farm/ryokan after having completed 6 job interviews, he/she can decide to continue an unlimited number of job interviews, or he/she can opt out of the pre-arrange job option. In this case, GO INTERNATIONAL will refund the fee for the job guarantee.

    REFUNDS

    • The application fee is non-refundable.

When the Program is confirmed, the following refund policies apply:

  • Cancellation more than 3 months prior to start date: Full refund of Program Fees.
  • Cancellation 3 months or less, but more than 2 months prior to start date: 20% cancellation fee (applied to Program Fees).
  • Cancellation 2 months or less, but more than 1 month prior to start date: 50% cancellation fee (applied to Program Fees).
  • Cancellation 1 months or less prior to start date: No Refund.

Teach in Japan – Non-Degree Holders

REFUNDS

  • The application fee is non-refundable.
  • When the placement is confirmed, the program fee is non-refundable.
  • Once you start the online TESOL course, the course fee is non-refundable.

REFUNDS

  • The application fee is non-refundable if you are not accepted to the program.
  • Cancellation prior to acceptance to the program: Application fee is non-refundable. The full Program Fees fee, if already paid, will be refunded. Written cancellation notification must be received within 10 days of cancelling to qualify for a refund.
  • After acceptance to the program (unless canceling for reasons outlined in Point 6): No refund. If you have not paid your fees in full, you will be invoiced for the amount due to our USA Camp Provider Partner which are due within 14 days of cancelling.
  • If you change any information on your application after acceptance to the program that our UK Camp Provider Partner determines will adversely affect your placement possibilities, GO INTERNATIONAL reserves the right to withdraw your application from the program; in this case there is no refund of any fees. This includes information you post in your application documents as well as any information that you post on the internet or social media.
  • If you post anything on the internet or social media or break any of the camp, state, or federal rules during your camp program (including time off), GO INTERNATIONAL and its USA Camp Provider Partner reserve the right to cancel you from the program without any refunds (please see Early Departures for more details).
  • If you cancel due to life-threatening illness or a life-threatening illness or death of a parent or sibling (medical certificate required for review), you will receive a refund of your Program Fees. A written cancellation notification and the medical certificate documenting the illness must be received within 10 days of cancelling to qualify for a refund. No refunds will be made for cancellations as a result of pre-existing conditions.
  • Fees incurred for obtaining your criminal background check, medical examination and visa processing and any other third-party services are non-refundable in most cases and GO INTERNATIONAL is not responsible for any refunds of these fees.
  • The SEVIS fee, if paid by the USA Camp Provider Partner at the time of your cancellation, will be deducted from any refund owed to you. If you are not owed a refund and the SEVIS fee has been paid on your behalf, you will owe the amount of the SEVIS fee.
  • In the event the U.S Government rejects your visa application in your home country, your Program Fees are non-refundable. GO INTERNATIONAL strongly advises you to apply for your J-1 visa only in your country of citizenship. Visa applications made in a country where the applicant is not a citizen or permanent legal resident may face higher risk of visa denial. The U.S. Government requires additional documentation if you apply for your visa outside your home country. GO INTERNATIONAL and its USA Camp Provider Partner cannot be held liable for visa rejections.
  • If you have not applied for your visa at least 15 days prior to your date of availability or if the U.S. Government does not issue your visa in time to arrive at camp by your start date as listed on your online account, your participation in the program will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
  • Your DS2019 visa application form must be returned to the USA Camp Provider Partner before any refunds can be issued.
  1. To apply to the UK Pub Program, all participants must:

– Be between 18-30 years old
– Be a holder of or eligible for a UK Tier 5 Youth Mobility visa
– Speak at least Upper Intermediate level of English
– Be available for a minimum of 6 months

  1. GO International’s UK Partner Provider will guarantee one placement only. Additional placement offers are subject to availability and depend on the participant’s flexibility.
  2. Participants must clearly state their “preferred start date” and “latest available date to receive the placement” on their application. These dates must be a minimum of 14 days apart.
  3. Most placements are in smaller cities and towns. The participant understands that he/she can let the UK Partner know about preferences in location, duties and position, however this cannot be guaranteed. GO International’s UK Partner Provider will select a suitable placement according to availability.
  4. In very extreme circumstances a Host Company may need to change the start or the end date of a program. GO International’s UK Partner Provider will inform the participant as soon as possible and, should the position be no longer suitable, another placement will be offered. In the unlikely event of the host company being suddenly unable to continue offering a position to the participant, for reasons other than the participant’s own will or performance, GO International’s UK Partner Provider will offer another placement free of charge – however the participant shall be responsible for the travel costs to the new placement.
  5. Travelling to the UK should not be arranged before a placement has been confirmed by GO International’s UK Partner Provider. GO International’s UK Partner Provider shall not be held responsible for expenses or damages resulting from a participant travelling before a confirmation is sent.

  • Application Fees are non-refundable.
  • Before job offer has been confirmed: 50% of program fees.
  • After job offer has been accepted: No refund.
  1. To apply to the UK Holiday Resort Program, all participants must:

– Be between 18-30 years old
– Be a holder of or eligible for a UK Tier 5 Youth Mobility visa
– Speak at least Upper Intermediate level of English
– Be available for a minimum of 3 months

  1. GO International’s UK Partner Provider will guarantee one placement only. Additional placement offers are subject to availability and depend on the participant’s flexibility.

Indigenous Youth Group Program in New Zealand 

To apply to the Indigenous Youth Group Program in New Zealand, all participants must:

    • Be a Canadian citizen residing in Canada
    • Have a valid Canadian passport
    • Be a member of one of the following ethic groups – First Nations, Inuit, Metis
    • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 (and must not turn 36 before New Zealand issues you your working holiday visa)
    • Have a clean police record
    • Have intermediate or better working knowledge of English
    • Have never previously entered New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa
    • Provide a bank statement that certifies you have access to at least $4,200 NZD (ca. $3,430 CAD) in available funds
    • Have medical insurance for the duration of your entire trip
    • Meet health and personal character requirements
    • Must not have any dependent children

 

GO INTERNATIONAL’s New Zealand Partner Provider shall be responsible for providing the services outlined to the participant. In the event, that the services and accommodations outlined cannot be provided due to causes beyond the control of GO INTERNATIONAL’s New Zealand Partner Provider, all efforts will be made to provide comparable services and accommodations.

  1. To apply to the Au Pair in the UK Program, all participants must:

– Be between 18-28 years old
– Be a holder of or eligible for the Youth Mobility visa for the UK
– Have good conversational English skills
– Be unmarried and have no children
– Have verifiable childcare experience
– Be a non-smoker

  1. GO International does not guarantee any au pair placement, location or hours. GO International is the conduit between the au pair and the local au pair agency. The employer will be the host family.
  2. GO International reserves the right to refuse any applicant based on a number of factors which may include availability, English skills, motivation, expectations, childcare experience, references, previous work experience and education.
  3. The participant is responsible to make sure they meet the eligibility requirements and to apply for the UK Youth Mobility Visa.
  4. The participant understands that Au Pair in the UK is a cultural exchange program and will do their best to actively engage with their host family and community.
  5. The participant will provide up to 30h per week of childcare, including up to 1h of light household duties. The participant will not accept any other form of employment that interferes with their au pair duties.
  6. The participant will complete their duties and responsibilities to the best of their abilities and with due respect, and indemnifies GO International, its staff, agents and all affiliated organizations from any damages, losses or claims resulting from the participation on the Program.

REFUNDS

  • Application Fees are non-refundable.
  • Before placement has been confirmed: Full refund of Program Fees.
  • After placement has been accepted: No refund.

To apply to the Internship in France Program and Work and Travel Hospitality in France Program, all participants must:
– Be between 18-30 years old
– Be a holder of or eligible for the Youth Mobility visa for France
– Speak at least Intermediate level of English
– Have intermediate level in French (minimum B1)
– Be a full-time student at the time of application (Only applicable for Internship in France Program)

  1. The French Internship Provider bears the responsibility for the search for a placement of the student. The Program Provider puts the student in contact with a host company to obtain an internship in France, for a duration of 2 to 6 months, in the student’s field of studies.
  2. The Program Provider guarantees up to 3 job / internship interviews, which must lead to an effective recruitment. The employer will have the final say in hiring the student.
  3. GO INTERNATIONAL and the Program Provider cannot be held responsible for the behavior or conduct of the employer.
  4. The application must be received between 2-4 months prior to the course start date. Any request received after the set deadline is subject to availability and might be refused by the Program Provider.
  5. The participant will not be able to postpone his/her course, except in the event of legitimate and compelling reasons requiring the participant to stay in Canada or leave France (critical illness, death or hospitalization of a family member, for instance). Postponement can only be considered if the participant has not yet begun his/her employment contract. Postponement is valid for a maximum period of 12 months. The participant shall provide written proof for the reason of postponement.

    • Registration fee is non-refundable.
    • Cancellation more than 14 days before course start AND before the first internship interview: Full refund of Program Fees.
    • Cancellation after first internship interview and/or less than 14 days before course start: No Refund.
  1. GO International does not guarantee any volunteer position, specific duties and activities or number of hours. Hours and duties may be affected by availability, demand, bad weather, economic events, seasonal business fluctuations and other factors out of the control of GO International. GO International is a conduit between the host organization and the volunteer.
  2. GO International will place the participant in one volunteer work assignment only. GO International will not locate secondary employment if the participant quits their assignment or gets fired. Should either happen, the participant is obligated to notify GO International in writing about the change of their employment status.
  3. GO International reserves the right to refuse any applicant based on a number of factors which may include the volunteer market at the time, English skills, motivation, expectations, previous work experience and education.
  4. The participant is responsible to acquire a valid visa or travel authorization to stay in Canada for the duration of their Volunteer Program.
  5. The volunteer work assignment is temporary and only runs for the duration specified in the placement details.
  6. The participant is responsible for all travel expenses to get to Canada, for travel within Canada and to the project.
  7. The participant is solely responsible for finding and paying for their own accommodation while in Canada unless provided by the host organization. All expenses related to housing and daily living, including rent, utilities, furnishing, and food are the participant’s responsibility.
  8. The participant is expected to respect the property of the host organization and will pay for property damage if caused. Destruction and/or theft of property will be grounds for disciplinary action.
  9. The participant will obey all Canadian federal, provincial and local laws and agrees to comply with rules and policies of the host organization, including but not limited to such matters as personal grooming, uniforms and drug testing.
  10. The participant will carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position that GO International has arranged for them. GO International only facilitates an arrangement between the volunteer and the host employer.
  11. The participant agrees that they will perform their volunteer duties to the best of their abilities and indemnify without limitation, GO International, its directors, its employees, agents and organizations affiliated with it, against any loss or damage suffered by any of them, or any claims made against any of them, as a result of any breach or negligence by the participant during the participation in the program.
